According to information provided by the State of
Michigan Public Service Commission, and others the average home
in Michigan will save approximately $1,960 per year when uses
natural gas instead of propane. The average home in Michigan
will save approximately $2,362 per year when it use natural gas
instead of fuel oil for heat and electricity for the hot water
heater - more savings can expected when comparing natural gas to
fuel oil when lower efficiency ratings of older fuel oil
furnaces and higher maintenance cost are factored in. |
